Most of the Amazon alternatives are going to be niche by niche. For instance there’s a golf ball site that I can affiliate for and make 15-20% commissions vs the 4-7% on Amazon. The nice thing about Amazon however is the fact that just about everyone uses it, and its so easy to buy something.
When you create a product review video for YouTube marketing, share your personal experience about the product you are selling – which means you must have personally used the product first – and be objective oriented in your video. Be honest and natural in your product review video so that you can win the confidence of the visitors so that they can buy your product.
Consumers are bombarded with videos every time they scroll through Facebook, so they make quick decisions on whether or not something is worth watching. If your ad doesn’t draw them in within the first few seconds, they will move on. Grab their attention right away with something that piques their interest and makes them curious enough to keep watching.[1]
Thank you for sharing these great tips. I have made money from Amazon from revenue share sites like Hubpages. I am not looking to branch out and start to build my own sites to really increase my earning potential. I am sure that these tips are going to come in very handy.
Despite its early success, Facebook faces challenges on its road to video dominance. For one, YouTube, which has been the only video platform with scale for a decade until Facebook came around, will not give up easily. The platform has been fighting to keep its prized creators on YouTube, offering bonuses for anyone signing an exclusive contract. And YouTube is not the only player competing for premium video content. The overflowing bucket of TV ad dollars is too great a prize for any web platform to pass up. As I wrote earlier this month:
But because of the consistency of creating videos, which as of today I have create 155 videos. All I have to do now is create 1 video every 2 weeks and my traffic is still consistently coming to that site.
It doesn’t require specialized expertise. You don’t have to be a world-renowned expert in your niche. You only need to be familiar enough with your topic area to know what products are good and worth recommending to your audience.
Well im new to Affiliate marketing, but tried once but wasnt successful. I run an Ebooks blog, where I review ebooks and publish. I want to start using affiliate marketing for ebooks. Could you give me some suggestions regarding same.
Whether you are just getting started on Facebook or are already up and running, you can’t afford to make mistakes or waste your time on Facebook marketing. Facebook is the biggest social network – if you want to stand-out online, you must have a strong Facebook presence.
If you’re not pleased with how your ad looks, you can go back and format your ad however you’d like. Once you’re happy with it, be sure to click on “Review” to see if there are any errors you need to fix (it will alert you if there are). Once you’ve fixed them, or if there aren’t any, click on “Confirm” and you’re good to go!
While content consumption is on the up-and-up, it might surprise you to find that the amount of time spent on Facebook per day has actually decreased. The current average amount of time spent on Facebook is 35 minutes per day.
Sure, you may already have a job and other commitments. Just record a lot of material on weekends and spend some time day editing and uploading content. Many new people make the mistake of uploading just one or two videos to test the waters.
Reading this article I thought , wow thats still a lotta work and realised- if you maried me, I wouldnt have to do all the work!. Then looking at your picture I can tell I could almost be your mom, so if you dont have one, let me know! 😛
While these models have diminished in mature e-commerce and online advertising markets they are still prevalent in some more nascent industries. China is one example where Affiliate Marketing does not overtly resemble the same model in the West. With many affiliates being paid a flat “Cost Per Day” with some networks offering Cost Per Click or CPM.
Facebook will split revenue from ads watched between all videos watched in a single session, determining the payouts by how long the viewer spends with each video. So, if you watched a one-minute video from Funny or Die and a four-minute video from Fox Sports with an ad in between, Funny or Die would get a fifth of 55% of the ad revenue and Fox Sports would get four-fifths of the 55% of revenue.
But as we know that everything is done through a particular process, so is with YouTube. Making money thru on YouTube might not be as easy as posting review on the blog. You need to follow a definite process to get success while doing affiliate marketing via YouTube channel. It might be that other bloggers and common individuals use the same strategy to earn money. But if their knowledge is incomplete or they miss out on one important element, they might not be able to create an engaging video.
Hey guys. Great post with detailed, actionable content. I would like to add my ‘2 cents’ if that’s ok. You are absolutely right with offering a ‘free gift’ in exchange for someone’s name and email address but I have found short reports have worked best for me. If you give away too much information for free they don’t tend to get consumed so the trust isn’t built with your subscriber. Your free gift is the first point of contact with your prospect so it’s unlikely they will read an entire ebook but if you give them a short report which they are able to consume in about 20 mins and they get tremendous value from they are more likely to listen to you in the future and buy your recommendations. A big mistake i see a lot of affiliates make is the content they use for their free giveaway. They think just because it’s given away for free that they can just throw together some PLR material and use that. Unfortunately that doesn’t cut it these days and will damage your relationship with your prospect rather than strengthen it. The best way is to carry out some research in your marketplace and see what pains and frustrations your prospects have and create your free giveaway around that.
